Privacy policy

Last updated: 5 November 2026

The short version: your pictures never leave your device. There are no accounts and no cookies, and we don’t sell or share anything about you.

Your pictures

The converter and the AI cut-out run entirely inside your web browser. The pictures you open, the SVG files you make and the points you tap are processed on your own device. They are never sent to us or to anyone else.

Files your browser downloads from this site

To work, the page downloads its own code and fonts. If you use the AI cut-out, it also downloads the AI model (about 25 MB). All of these come from this website, and the only thing loaded from elsewhere is the visitor statistics script described below.

Hosting

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, so it can deliver the site and protect it from abuse. Cloudflare handles this data under its own privacy policy. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure website.

Visitor statistics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It doesn’t use cookies or other storage on your device and doesn’t follow you across websites. It records things like which page was visited, the site you came from, your country and your browser type. We use this only to see which pages are useful.

Cookies and storage on your device

We don’t use cookies. If you choose a preview mat color, the site remembers that choice in your browser’s local storage. Nothing else is stored. You can clear it at any time in your browser settings.

Your rights

Apart from the hosting data described above, we don’t collect personal data, so there is usually nothing for us to show you or delete. You can still ask us any question about your privacy at [email protected]. If you’re in the UK and unhappy with our answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.

Who we are

LayerSVG is run by an individual based in the United Kingdom. Contact: [email protected].

Changes

If anything here changes, for example if we add advertising, we’ll update this page before the change and change the date at the top.
